If this is really firm request, take look at
www.report-sculptor.com. With RS you can write report in code
or combination of code and form objects. You get total control over positioning of report elements.
Although it would be much easier (if possible) to simply avoid (talk user away from using) underline in this case.
No underline + monospaced font = no problem ;)
