I'm a long time BYU hater, but I applaud him and the school. He agreed to the code. He did the right thing. The school treated him the same way they would with anyone else, so he got no preferential treatment.

If you really believe in something, it's more important than winning basketball games. We all applaud certain principles but it's a rare person who stands up for them at a cost to themselves.
