That part is not the problem - I have several unicode capable editors at hand. It's just that none of them recognize this text as any specific codepage. I get stuff like this:

Looks like Koi8-R to me.Well, since the same text is available online, I can gather a sufficient sample from which to build a translation string for chrtran(). I just thought someone may have one already.
