On Yahoo! at least, so-called "raw footage" of the effects of the Japanese tsunami are already being prefaced by not 10-second, not 15-second, not 30-second, but 33-second ads for Dell or Cisco.
IMO, it's crass, at the very least.
I'm wondering if they'll run ads ahead of footage of the tsunami damage to California... or maybe they think it's OK to do that just ahead of the Japanese footage.
