However, most people only learn what they need to learn to do their jobs (and I'm as guilty of that as anyone), but in reality it never hurts to explore new stuff because you might suddenly realize that the new stuff is just perfect for something you've been trying to do. If you had never learned at least a little bit about it, you probably wouldn't realize it was really what you were looking for.
OK, what I just wrote sounds really lame, but hopefully you get my meaning. I've had a cold for a week and consequently I haven't been thinking too clearly for the past few days. Is that a good excuse? <g>
