I blame Hollywood.

I'm pro nuclear but I guess this may set it back again. Meanwhile the usual parade of renewable energy consultants are appearing on TV assuring us that they can supply all our power needs. They usually omit to say they hope to make a stack of cash on the way.

I do wonder why the Japanese didn't build on the other side of the island away from the fault line.
