Hi Ony:

One thing is not truth. Valid event doesn' fire when the combobox losts its focus. My combobox has the focus. I press "enter" combobox losts its focus but valid event doesn't fire. If I click and select an item valid events fires and works as I want to. I use to click on comboboxes but not any user. The bad thing in this is if the user press "enter" the form set the focus to the next visible object without logical.

Fortunatelly my clients when they see form doesn't do what they want they close it and learn how to do for it works but I may meet any hostile new client who can tell me "you as developer can't tell me 'you must click not enter'"

I hate always textbox makes valid event even when I'd like it doesn't. Now I want combox to make it and it doesn't. Life would be very boring if everything would work as it must, wouldn't it?

Hector
