vfp can run on Atom quite well, as its runtime characteristics were largely honed to Pentium I running low frequencies.
Atom is rather similar to PI, still having larger & faster disk, RAM and >1G frequency, all good when compared to 94-01 type of machines.

It would have been a great tool for MS to capture mobile development...
