I created a report in CR using VS2010. I had to download CR from SAP and get past a myriad of errors. I finally got the report to run.

Then I copied the app to my client's PC and ran it, and the report prompts me for DB login info. I check the Use Integrated Security checkbox, click Finish, and get

The app uses trusted connection and I'm having no problems getting into SQL for the apps data. It's jjust Crystal that won't cooperate. I checked the SQL logs and found:
2011-03-16 20:16:19.76 Logon Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 5.
2011-03-16 20:16:19.76 Logon Login failed for user 'Kevin'. [CLIENT: 192.168.1.191]
The 'Kevin' user name is my dev machine login name. My remote user name at the client site is 'kmarois', so the report isn't getting its login info.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Finally, I have really had it with Crystal Reports. I had always thought that CR was decent product. The MS got ahold of it, and now gave it over to SAP. For YEARS I have been struggling with the same issues, and other programmers at work all say the same thing - when you get it working, it's great. Until then, your screwed. I am going with SSRS from now on.

Good ridence CR.
