>A while back I was looking to buy a shop vac. After researching on-line, I ended up getting a unit that everyone said really sucked.
Many years ago back when I was at university, there were a several DEC VAX computers used for the Unix computer labs. Frequently posted on the wall in those labs was a full-page advert from the newspaper (Los Angeles Times) that a department store (IIRC it was Sears) ran when they started carrying a brand of vacuum cleaners from Europe. In large bold type it read "THIS IS VAX. IT REALLY SUCKS." We all got a good chuckle out of that one (mostly the Unix guys -- as they were the ones that posted it. Such a sense of humour was often lost with the "IBMers" that would often get bent out of shape if anything was ever said about their beloved systems.).
