there was a broadcast on NPR where they talked witht he chief of the nuclear reactors in japan. I don't remember all the details, but he said that nothing on the scal of Chernobyl can happen there becuase of the way there system operates. Even if there is a complete meltdown, the aftermath will be bad, but nothing on the scale of chernobyl.
