>Glad you got it fixed. Just yesterday I had to fix update problems with 2 client workstations (XP SP3). On both of them, all or some .Net updates were failing, and all Silverlight updates on both were failing.

Yes, this is what I thought about a while but didn't do it because this was not on a test server and would have affected a lot of issues.
