And now they suck even worse ;-) So do mine. As always, it has been a wacky tournament, which is part of its charm. The end of the Butler-Pitt game was one of the most incredible finishes I have ever seen. What on earth was the Pitt defender thinking fouling a guy 85 feet from the basket with time running out?! Clearly he wasn't thinking at all, just reacting.

I was badly wrong about how two conferences in particular would do. The Big Ten has already exceeded my expectations, with four more teams playing today. And the dismal performance of the Big East has shocked me. All hail Charles Barkley! At the beginning of the tournament he called them overrated.
