>OK, I understand. In some DB environments, it's easy to predict if changes will or won't occur on the outside. Others it's more difficult to predict.
Currently all my customers are using VFP database. And most of them (99.99%) have no idea of how to use VFP. When I convert my app to the SQL Server database or VFP database, the customers that will use SQL Server (namely a DBA) will probably be able to make changes outside the application. Although I doubt that they will do so since I see no reasons for them to do it. But maybe at that time I will add some logging in the DB level too. I am so overwhelmed with all the conversion I have to do that I am trying to just follow "small baby" steps approach.
