>I was badly wrong about how two conferences in particular would do. The Big Ten has already exceeded my expectations, with four more teams playing today. And the dismal performance of the Big East has shocked me. All hail Charles Barkley! At the beginning of the tournament he called them overrated.

>As for Big 10, it's still a bit early to say they're exceeding any expectations. Having said that, KU will have a tough game tonight against Illinois.

>And I hope our resident UNC fan has accepted that Isaiah Thomas Jr is going to dazzle the Tar Heels today. At this point in the tourney, anyone can beat anyone.

No, she hasn't :o) He did dazzle, but not enough to win the game. UNC -- SWEET SIXTEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o) Talk about a surprise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially after Henson almost blew it -- but that's the pressure in NCAA tournament....

I liked this comment:

But the Huskies’ aggressiveness came with a price. Washington’s big men got in foul trouble. North Carolina exploited that by repeatedly getting the ball inside to Tyler Zeller and John Henson. Plus, there’s a fine line between being aggressive and being wild, and Washington often crossed it, committing too many turnovers and being clumsy with the ball.

Now, No. 3 seed Syracuse or No. 11 seed Marquette -- I don't even want to think about it!
