It could be one of several things.

First, verify that the dataset that you're trying to push into the report object has all the columns that the report expects.

Second, using the debugger, check the report tables object collection...see how many tables the report's table object collection is "expecting" to receive.

Third, can you give any specifics on the error message you're getting?
