>thanks for responding. i have tried adding This.Refresh to page 2 and it still comes up with a blank grid. part of the problem may be the fact that in addition to marking the records for deletion, i also have a menu option that packs the table to remove the records. i didn't like gaps in the reports from records marked for deletion.
