I was able to do that too but was never able to get it to work when connecting to an sFTP Unix box.

>I have been using the ChilKat ActiveX control for FTPS (sFTP is an old version, only used on Unix systems, but is in fact supported by the ChilKat control) for over 8 months in production. ChilKat handles both Explicit (you connect on a special port, typically 990) and Implicit (you connect on the usual Port 21, and then switch to FTPS on another port). I've been using the explicit, as it's straightforward. Seems to be working great.
