It works OK with VFP.

There are some issues with Forms and reports, among other file types. SourceSafe considers them binary files and will not show actual differences between versions when comparing versions. It will only tell you if the 'binary' files differ.

There are some workarounds to that issue although I never tried them.

I did use SourceSafe for all my VFP projects for many years.
