I used Perforce for a couple of projects a few years ago, and I really liked it.

I had to use Subversion for a project (this was in 2008) and I hated, absolutely hated the interface and the entire process.

Normally when I'm forced to use a product that has warts, I'll just grin and bear it - but at the time (again, 3 years ago) Subversion was so bad that it felt like punishment. (I'm told by people that it's been improved over the years).
