Dionisio,

I disagree with everyone in this thread.

I think that SourceSafe 6.0d works quite well and integrates with FoxPro, especially with the FoxPro Project Manager.

You do need to configure VFP under Tools\Options\Projects and set the "Text generation" textbox to the FoxPro supplied SCCTEXT.prg which, if you are using VFP9 is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9\scctext.prg. And you have to tell FoxPro (in the same Tools\Options dialog) that you ware use "Microsoft Visual SourceSafe" as your Active source control provider. That's it.

The SCCText.prg automatically creates and checks in the text file equivalent of forms (SCA file), Classes, (VCA file) and reports (FRA) and Menus (MNA). The binary files for forms, classes, reports and menus are also checked into SourceSafe.

These files you can diff (track changes) from within SourceSafe. You can view these files and search for text or whatever you want to do.
