I have a 10 year old app that uses buffered VFP tables. Users are generating error 1585 in the errorlog, but I can't reproduce it. I'm opening my main tables in a form's data environment, using buffering mode 3. Sometimes they get tableupdated, other times its implicit as I change rows.

Whats happening is that the row is dirty, and when I locate to another row I get this error. It happens even when theres one user on the test system, so its not a conflict between users.

Rewriting the app is not an option, really I'm hardly supposed to touch it without a series of meetings.

Shouldnt the implicit tableupdate fire when I change rows? Why the error message and crash?
