Well, I feel the exact opposite. The inverted T has always driven me crazy, I'm constantly hitting down when I want to switch from left to right. Inverted T always struck me as a compromise to be able to fit the keys in 2 vertical rows rather than 3, on "compact" keyboards. It's become a "standard", just like QWERTY - that doesn't mean it's the best layout. It just doesn't seem logical to me, I can't see how it would be "ergonomic".
