Well the guy was there alone - has no history of anything to do with any kind of weapons - and he was raising the chickens there - NOT fighting them (although of course that's the purpose for which he was raising them)...so there was no real threat to begin with - unless these evil killer chickens were trained to attack swat teams and tanks.
