In the two places I often go (if I go at all, VPN ist great...) different adaptation strategies were in effect:
in one place I am put into the room with there is background rock playing
(does not phase me - if I cannot tune it out, it is time for some tiger strolls through the offices or another pot of coffee)
in the other is a guy 3/4 on the phone - if I am typing too loud, his cell phone gets more use outside,
if my concentration is broken, it gets refreshed outside.
Gets both of us out off the chair into fresh air often enough ;-)
