Nope, In fact I had a terrific three day weekend for the good reasons and none of the bad ones. In strict violation of my frequent diarrhea of the mouth, I will just say I feel great. And you can interpret that any way you like. The future is showing signs of light. Sometimes life surprises you.

PS -- we can stop arguing back and forth about government spending and let it go amicably. It seems less interesting to me now. IAC it is approaching abortion in terms of intractability, really nothing to be gained from debating it. The lines are formed like little toy soldiers The moderates -- which includes neither of us and not many of the UT chatter regulars -- will decide it.

Having said that, I completely disagree with your characterization.

You can't claim on one hand that government isn't as powerful as it's being characterized, and then also defend the views of some economists that more money needs to be pumped into the govt. Even though the views of these economists are short-sighted, let's suppose for a moment that they're right. You couldn't even possibly hope to achieve the latter goal without the premise of the former. Both things can't be true. So even sober, your logic is flawed.
