>Iced tea: when I lived in Colorado, it was common to make "sun tea." It was large sealed jar (gallon or more) of water with a dozen tea bags soaking all day in the sun. Here in the south it is tea with SUGAR. (it tastes more like sugar than tea). I never could drink the stuff here so I have to ask for unsweetened tea (it is always super sweet by default) and then add my own packet of sugar.
Southern restaurant: [Me] I'd like ice tea. [Waitress] Do you want sweet or un, hun?
