Doug, that is such a superlative answer. Posts like this are why you are an MVP and have been for many years, including several before you were officially anointed. To me you epitomize the MVP program, those with knowledge who give their time and knowledge selflessly.

If you have any influence, please try to get Viv Phillips in. Don't ask me why this has become such a cause with me but apparently it has. It's just not right. The good and honest things I just said about you are equally true of him. A significant amount of what I know about .NET comes from his posts. That his contributions and knowledge have not been acknowledged is a travesty IMO. I do get it that his not being on the regular speaker circuit may be part of it. He does not move among the movers and shakers. But if you think about the original intent of the MVP program, he should be in and officially recognized.
