Electric cars are beginning to be sold, They're a good idea, but the batteries need a lot of improvement and how the power to charge them is produced needs upgrading. I think the Chevrolet VOLT will only go 35 miles (56 km) on a charge.

More hybrids would be just fine, but they are still expensive :(
Wish I had one right now, as per new prices fuel cost me 40 euro per week. More I look at my fuel bill, less ugly that Toyota Prius looks. :)
