>>>Crystal is a very good product, but you should also give some serious consideration to Concentric Data Systems R&R Report Writer. These guys have had a great foxpro addon for years.

>>R&R Windows versions have been very disappointing. Lacking in lots of areas. The big advantage to CR is that it has an OCX and can be completlly transparent to the end user. I've never seen that in R&R.

>I believe R&R XBase version 7 is available as an OCX if you check with the people at Concentric. I have tried many of the report writers available in the Xbase market and have never found one as flexible and easy to use as R&R. I should note that R&R is really a developer's tool, as opposed to FoxFire which is stronger in the end-user arena.

We use R&R for a long time but we have big problem with version 7. The printer is now save with the report and we can not switch for another printer. The RI_Printer (in parameter DBF) doesn't work (this is a bug know by the company but they didn't have solution). Finally they were bought by another company and the new product will be Arpegio (but Apegion can not import your report from R&R).
We have two hundred and fifty report we began to migrate from R&R 6 Dos to R&R version 7 Window but we stop the project.
