VFP IMO is still very strong (unsurpassed really) in small to mid-size lan-based database intensive applications.

That being said, we're looking to start a rewrite of our vertical market application but I doubt .NET is the solution. If we're going to bite the bullet and rewrite from scratch then we have to go with a solution that is designed from the ground up for multi-OS Windows and Mac... not so concerned with Linux (thinking Servoy or Java or ?) and native support for tablet devices needs to happen too (ipad and Android honeycomb).

Anyone have a lead for an all-in-one wonder person who can start a huge project like this and finish it too! (no telecommuting - we're in Central Florida).
