It sure doesn't look that way to me. The iPad has been a runaway success, and now a million competitors are joining the fray. If they don't last there will have been a lot of manufacturers who were wrong.

Not to be cynical or anything but maybe Microsoft/Mundie have selfish reasons for pooh poohing the category. They don't really have a horse in the race, do they? Caught flat footed by Apple yet again.
