First, I don't get tablets... too big to fit in your pocket, no physical keyboard, not sunlight readable, and short of a kickstand, they can't even sit up, and you need to buy a case to protect the screen! How exactly is this better than a netbook?

IMO: The Xoom isn't meeting sales numbers because of the price point. There's no reason they shouldn't be able to bring the price down to $400 US (at least). Get to $300 and they become impulse buys, like netbooks were. They'll get there I'm sure.

The iPad\iPhone platform is what I would give my grandmother to surf the internet. It's simplicity is a strength for novices, but a hindrance to "real" users (sorry if that offends anyone). Give me Android any day.
