just a thought, can you do the work in the cursor instead of the report form?

What I mean is, can the cursor be set up with a field like nOrder and then everything that gos in the first part could be nOrder 1, the second part nOrder 2 etc. Then order by nOrder and any other fields you might need to order by.

I have done that with some complex reports and it worked for me.
