NET with WinForms ? I saw few of those apps around here, but performance was very bad! Compared to VFP of course.
There were a few threads in UT about performance, One NET pundit in particular tried to quote performance on a PC with NET preloaded. Others compared real-life scenarios with Word, email and a few other apps already open on a typical PC of the day. On some PCs it could take 30 seconds for the Winform to display. But that was a very long time ago.
