is unquestionably my home state of California.

After 18 months of invalid modelling exposure, real-world measurements, whitewashed inquiries and European experience in the green-job myth, AGW is completely off the public's list of concerns. Carbon-trading startups and exchanges are shuttering their doors and the world is waking up to the fact that they've been played for fools to the tune of $60 billion govenment subsidized dollars. While the vast majority is wiping their brows and saying "whew, that was close" California is being a good little lemming and continuing right off the cliff.

33% of California's energy will now be mandated to come from renewables. *slapping forehead*
California is also moving forward with what will be the world's only cap-and-trade market. *slapping forehead* again.
Mind you that new solar and wind farms are repeatedly objected to in California by enviros. *bashing forehead into desk*
So where to get this renawable energy?
The coastal commission is looking to shut down hydro plants. *another forehead bash*
Nuclear provides under 15% and there is no new development allowed. *bash*
California's population continues to grow, energy needs continue to rise and our elected leaders are stifling energy production. *bash*

Luckily, they've installed "smart" meters, so when power demand is too high, with the flip of a switch the powers that be can shut down our energy consumption. After all, they know that we shouldn't be using that much energy. *bash*

Is anyone interested in buying a ranch in northern California? I can get you a real good deal, if your forehead can take it. *bash*
