Thanks Sergey...I've been importing Excel 2007 for years, by detecting that VFP can't handle it, than saving it to an Excel file of an earlier version...I CAN IMPORT and can deal w/the data, it's just that wiered column naming...in the source Excel file the columns are named ....DU, DV, DW.
