A very good person to agree with. And others who agreed with him are people are people I respect as developers, so maybe I am wrong. (Nah, can't be ;-) ). I do find elegance in "over-engineered" architectures like MVVM, MVC, MEF, and other IoC approaches and think they are worth the learning time. That's just me. Rick is a tool writer rather than a tool user (although of course he uses some) and that is an entirely different viewpoint.
