Another thing I do not understand is a post like this:

It says to remember to encode the file name in case it contains special characters in order to have the extension type to work. Well, it cannot even go through the TransmitFile() if it contains a special characters. So, I really cannot understand how someone succeeds to use TransmitFile() with a file name containing a French character.
