LOL.. the show-off factor definitely is an issue, but the opportunities for Bling are going to increase. The only reason devices need to be as big or shaped as they are is to carry a screen and/or to function as a phone handset. Provide both needs some other way and now your device can become a Tiffany pendant, a bracelet or large bling ring, a silk fan, a designer shirt or even eventually a tattoo that looks like Lady Gaga's. The manufacturers will have a field day and the cool dudettes still can spend big cash to look cool- and mysterious, because nobody else can see your virtual screen to know whether you're watching pokemon or buying and selling gold for profit.
