We have a program that prints the current form using Windows API functions similar to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/255744. This program doesn't work when using Remote Desktop/Terminal Server Easy Print. As far as I can tell, the API calls are returning valid values, no errors, but nothing prints out on the RDP client. VFP reports, on the other hand, print just fine. This is true for REPORTBEHAVIOR 90 and 80 and going back to VFP 7. I wonder what VFP is doing internally that is different than grabbing a device context and using StartDoc(), StartPage(), etc. to print. Any ideas? Are there newer APIs I should be using?
