The Universal Thread introduces the Universal Thread Day. A yearly event targeting at helping the site promotion by gathering as much members as possible during a specific timeframe.
Despite the fact that our record stands at 121 members online at the same time. For our first annual Universal Thread Day, we will try to reach 100 members.
The Universal Thread is a 17-year high end professional technical support engine on the Internet. Once you are logged in, you are in a full blown support engine interface providing some very powerful tools for your favorite development tool support. One of the most powerful option of the engine is its threading environment which makes it quite unique compare to most of the drop down type messages and blog engines available elsewhere on the net.
When the Universal Thread became live, it was under the name "Thread Section", which was targeting at FoxPro specific content. A few years later, it adapted its official name, thus the Universal Thread was created. In the early 2000's, the site has rapidly evolve to become generic in all of its areas and support a wide variety of forums now. The site now runs on SQL Server under ASP.NET tied to Level Extreme's Framework, a very solid Web/Desktop/Web Service .NET Framework targeting at most of today's needs in the business.
On Wednesday May 4th, between 12h00 and 15h00 EST, lets try to make our voice heard and reach 100 members logged in at the same time on the site.

1. Create a Facebook account if you do not already have one. You may go at
www.facebook.com for that.
2. Go at
http://www.facebook.com/UniversalThread and click Like.
3. From that page, click on Events or go directly at
http://www.facebook.com/UniversalThread#!/event.php?eid=140983529308448.
4. Click I'm Attending from the upper right.
5. Once point 4 done, click on + Select Guests to Invite from the upper left just under the image. Then, select from your list of friends related Universal Thread friends, co-workers or other persons you know in the business.
Your help will be appreciated. Remember, this is a support engine you are engine. The more people we can get on board, the better it is. There has been significant changes in the last year, the speed has been enhanced by 2.5 times, there has been some options which have been simplified, the introduction of the Like option and so on.
