I accually added about 20 fields to the user table. I didn't have any issues (or haven't so far) with any of the other new fields. The fields that didn't cause me any problems were either flagged as nullable, or not nullable with a default. The 2 fields that were causing me problems were the only ones that were flagged not nullable and had no defaults.
