On a textbox, I have some code in the valid event. Does the valid event not fire if the user clicks into another control? It always fires when I tab out or fill the control to the max number of characters, but it doesn't seem to fire if I click to another control on the form.

Is there an event linkage between Lostfocus and Valid, like they one fires then the other or are they really two totally separate events?
