Since the coding effort wil be significant, I'll investigate all alternatives mentionned in this thread including Venelina's treeview-based class. However the truth is that I try to work with alternatives to MS stuff every time I can. Especially on good old Seattle-made stuff.

Small-size independant software component providers have generally followed their customer base in a way that I value highly! I am impressed with the Bennet-tec Tlist functionality and look forward to get into the Tore's option as well.

Tlist looks like it maps very acurately into the requirements. With a few bonus on top.
