That SSL hack is a little different. I'd like to think that if Sony were hashing CC info, they'd use something serious, that would be difficult to crack no matter how large an array they could throw at it. OTOH if we're talking tens of millions of CC numbers, setting up a huge array may be worth it :-/

One more ironic thing is you can only assemble a compute array of PS3s by running Linux on them. And you can only do that by jailbreaking them (GeoHot etc.) since Sony has now closed the door on officially using alternate OSs.
