I'm very happy for them. Seems like they are in love with each other as opposed to him just hunting for somebody with the right bloodlines who may be a virgin and isn't birght enough to figure out what she's getting into ( or has enough ambition for glamour and fortune she doesn't care )

Catherine may not be descended from the Duchess of Devonshire but she may have her head screwed on straight enough to weather the weird fishbowl.

I wish them luck. And I'm not surprised it is a good media story. My wife is entranced by perversely has no interest in something as important an dactually relevant as the NFL draft <g>

They did have some kind of poll in the paper today showing the percentage of American's following the Royal Wedding closely was about 3 times hgiht than in the UK. ( Maybe because we're not paying for it <g>)

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
