>Good luck with the draft :-)

I was on the scene for the last royal wedding. (Not sure about the exact definition; meaning Charles and Diana). I had been working at Sainsbury's head office next to the Thames all summer and stuck around an extra two days to be there. My invitation to St. Paul's somehow got lost in the post but I was out on the procession route -- specifically, The Strand -- along with a gazillion others. I walked over there at around 6 in the morning and the sidewalk was already jammed with others doing the same, along with the hardier who slept there all night. Finally, late in the morning, a long procession of limos bearing the flags of countries I didn't recognize went by. Charles and his brother were in the next to last coach and finally Diana in her glass carriage. Everyone was waving tiny Union Jacks that were being sold for about 10p, and the procession was moving at a decent clip, so you didn't get much more than a glimpse, but it was exciting to be there. I am cynical about many things, and could be cynical about this one, but it was like having a bit part in a fairy tale.
