The news stories said parts of North Carolina were hit, although not as badly as Alabama and Mississippi. 300 dead -- I could look it up but that has to be pretty well up there in the history of tornadoes. Usually they blow through one at a time and hit one unlucky house or street. This was a cluster of them, as though they had developed the ability to mutate themselves like in some horror movie.
