>The CD itself must be messed up - it crashes part way through when reading the \wizards directory. This happens on both the old machine and on the new one. I either have to find another install program (perhaps a zip file on the Internet) or call MSFT to see if they can provide me with a link to create a new install cd (or install directory).

>>>Hi all,
>>>
>>>I am having trouble installing VFP9 (the full development copy) onto my new Win7 pc. Get errors like "cannot read file utility.vcx" and others as well. Is my CD just getting old or is it something else? I tried loading the cd onto the network from my old machine and am having trouble copying it as well. Is there other install media out there that I could download or is it possible to drag across from my old machine to the new?

>>Most likely your CD is bad.
>>Try to copy whole CD on your HDD and start the Setup from there.
You could Copy what you can copy in your HDD and then from your old machine try to add missing files.
I doubt that MS will provide you link to VFP installation ISO Image (but who knows miracles are happened).
